Michael Jackson – Gone at only 50 years old , 1 month younger than I am. It seems like yesterday the girls at Carmel Jr high were carrying the Jackson 5 album “ABC” and swooning over the young Michael. The boys didn’t like him even way back than in 1972. I now know it was because the girls did.
My point? He was 1 month younger than I am. 1 month !! It can all be over in the blink of an eye. death is the one thing that is forever and no amount of money, fame and fortune can stop it. So many of Us go room temperature without ever having lived 1/ 1000 of what We could have. We spend much of our lives following the rules of those who have nothing better to do than mind our business. We spend years at jobs We hate making someone else rich. We spend years in relationships that choke the life from Us because our pride won’t let what can be so easy be easy.
Michael Jackson admired by many, loved by family and friends and hated by some. Whatever He did it was who he was and unless We all knew the inner person it is easy to judge. It is easier than judging ones self. He is gone, just another chapter in Our history. Now is not the time to condemn or judge. Let him rest in peace.
What does matter is YOUR life, if most of Us spent as much time minding our own business We just might find the secret to a happy life. Life is short and can be gone in the blink of an eye. Enjoy it now.
